Me and matt are finally moving to New York at the end of January.
We found a little live work space somewhere industrial looking in Brooklyn, and we are very excited.

Dresser

Yesterday we found this cute little dresser on craigslist.
Today, its sitting in our the basement waiting to be cleaned up...
i think its cute.

Mini-hiatus

So we have been very lazy over the Holiday. Now we have to ease ourselves back into working. We will begin posting again now. I really feel like getting out and about but the foot of snow outside is making me hesitate! Now off to do some work. Photographing pieces, eeek!

Hardly Working

I really need to be getting on with my work, so to encourage myself to work, and to simultaneously distract myself from it, I've been pulling together work type inspirational images... It also touches on my love of all things 'stationary'

I have just come across documentary photographer Viktor Kolár. These images were taken between the late 60's and the late 80's, and I think they are great. They were amongst other great photography, ages ago in an exhibition at the Barbican in London.

Paper Moon

We watched one of my favorite movies last night, Paper Moon. Check out this Flicker Group with loads of lovely old papermoon photos. It'd be kind of a nice idea for a wedding maybe?

Viktor & Rolf

So, what seems an age ago, before Em & Me moved from London to the States, we visited the Barbican for a Viktor & Rolf exhibition. These images from Wallpaper are a little dated now but it was such a great exhibit, creepy, dark and excellent and I wanted to share them here.

P.S. If you are visiting London, the Barbican is always putting on great exhibitions, plays and concerts. And it is the coolest looking building, depending on your taste!
